St Albans Postbox Toppers

These maps have been created in conjunction with the St Albans Postboxes initiative for local charities. As well as the printable maps and sponsor checklist I have developed an online version to support people on the move, and give additional support to find exactly where the postbox is whilst out and about. New 10km route suggestions have also been developed for local running groups to use.

Many locals arrange runs with groups of friends during the cold month of December just so they can find the toppers and get their instagram fix with a new selfie. I started supporting this initiative by making a crochet topper back in 2021 and this year got involved in collating the information and assessing the best routing options for the 2024 event.

This winter we have launched the new map, checklists and online map to help raise the profile of the event to raise more money for the latest chosen charities.
