St Albans Postbox Toppers

These maps have been created in conjunction with the St Albans Postboxes initiative for local charities. As well as the printable maps and sponsor checklist, Clare developed an online version to support people on the move, and give additional support to find exactly where the postbox is, whilst out and about.

Running maps

Many St Albans locals arrange group runs with their friends during the cold month of December just so they can find the toppers and get their instagram fix with a new selfie! As a result, we calculated some new 10km route maps specifically for local running groups to use.

Clare started supporting this initiative by making a crochet topper back in 2021 and in 2024 got involved in the map making. Clare worked alongside the organisers to collate the relevant information and assess the best recommended routing options. This winter we have launched the new map, checklists and online map to help raise the profile of the event to raise more money for the chosen charities.

To support the event please find further information on how to donate on the St Albans Postbox website.
